ETSY Has New Artist: George Delany

For those of you who have been asking George Delany to post his original artwork on Etsy, the moment has arrived. Some years ago, Mr. Delany created a number of rustic little paintings using acrylic paint on ordinary wooden shingles-- yes, the kind you use to put on the roof. The result has been visually arresting, and intriguing.

Images consist of digital prints, hi-end, on-demand, archival photo prints that call for pH-neutral pigment and paper. “Great wall art, these are gorgeous prints,” the artist confesses. “They look wonderful and capture the detail that is in the original shingle painting to a fine extent.”

Lighthouse images of the northeast include home wall decor of Pemaquid Point Light,

Mr. Delany’s images of his own poultry call attention to the virtues of raising one’s own chickens, and harvesting magnificent eggs along the way. “We raised ‘em here for a couple of decades or more,” he recalls. “It was always great fun, really charmed the property, the kids loved the birds.” Images include One Cool Cock #1, One Cool Cock #2, and One Cool Cock #3. These are only half the story. The other half consists of the same high quality, museum quality home decor images of hens, and include One Cute Hen #1, and One Cute Hen #2.

All images come in a variety of formats: Prints only, matted prints, matted and framed prints...and most recently, adaptations to canvas, acrylic glass and aluminum.

“I am often moved to try to capture what is going on in one small manner of expression, or another,” the artist confides.” This may mean a poster, a painting, a typographic print, a new verse...whatever comes into my head. It is often an exhilarating process. I am thankful for it.”

Gallery Delany is a New England based interactive art gallery specializing in creative graphic design, typographic art, photography and fine art prints, all contemporary expressions of American wall decor created for the home, office, apartment, condo or getaway.

Re: "Going to be an important year," Designer Asserts--
Time to hang some new art on your walls? Gallery Delany, a creative, on-line visual resource for contemporary graphic, typographic and photographic wall art centered in Rehoboth, MA, now offers a variety of graphic, patriotic wall decor, on Amazon.

Sold as single prints, mygallerydelany will feature images about American history, education, awareness, the political climate and the upcoming election,” Mr. Delany states. These fine art prints are expressed in two series each featuring a different printing technique and format. The first and original is the Who We Are Series, a collection of offset-print, high-quality wall posters at 24” x 18” of which two designs are already running short: a) the Battle Hymn of the Republic  b) America the Beautiful c) AMERICA (My Country ‘tis of Thee d) Amazing Grace
e) God Bless America and the Pledge of Allegiance. The Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America are currently sold out. This collection received a Gold Award from Graphis, some years ago, and has since been included in the Library of Congress.

Printed in a vertical format, the second is a follow-up series, the American Revival Collection featuring the same thematic, graphic works plus God Bless America and the Star-Spangled Banner. This collection is digitally printed-on-demand and utilizes pH neutral pigment and paper-- archival quality. A third collection, Boston Strong, is also digitally printed-on-demand, printed with the same concern for quality and comprised of the same works. This series was designed in the aftermath of the terrible events in Boston on the occasion of the Marathon a couple of years ago.

All images are signed and sealed by the artist/designer and ship USPS in a durable tube.
If any buyer is not satisfied with the product a full, money-back guarantee is offered.

MyGalleryDelany will be expanding the select offerings during the month of February. Interested buyers are encouraged to take advantage of the sale going on throughout this month, plus, free shipping.

Re: Fall River Wall Art Images 2016
Gallery Delany, a creative, on-line visual resource for contemporary graphic, typographic and photographic wall art centered in Rehoboth, MA is pleased to offer a variety of wall art photo print imagery based on a variety of localities the photographer is fortunate to visit from time to time.

Fall River, Massachusetts is one of my favorite cities,” the photographer states. The city is very photogenic. It sits up on a mass of stone that runs north to south. To the east, the city slopes down to Watuppa Pond; to the west, it slopes down to Narragansett Bay. The views from up on the many hills are splendid, atmospheric, the natural light is always changing. And during the Industrial Revolution when American textiles were king, this city was a very vibrant, successful place. We are all hopeful that now, with a resurgence underway lead by a 24 year old Mayor, Fall River can continue to forge a prosperous legacy in the 21st century. Here are some photos I like,” he explains.

“I try to capture what is going on in one small manner of expression, or another,” the artist confides. This may mean a poster, a painting, a typographic print, a new verse...whatever comes into my head. It is often an exhilarating process. I am thankful for it.”
